
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The FBiH Government today, at an emergency session held by phone, made a Decision on granting temporary use, for the duration of the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), of the Training Center for Police Cadres "Mahir Begić" in the municipality of Hadžići, to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
The barracks consist of a Training Building, with a total net area of 2,003.36 square meters, and a Stone Building, with a total area of 687.26 m2, both with fixed assets and small inventory.
The decision was made after the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton addressed the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs with an act stating that police officers of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton are fulfilling their obligations related to the implementation of health protection measures for the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina from coronavirus, that they are carrying out activities on continuous patrolling and control of persons who have been issued
self-isolation measures, and that a large number of citizens in the Sarajevo Canton area have violated and continue to violate the decisions issued by the competent inspection authorities regarding movement restrictions on a daily basis.
