Those who vote for the budget have sold Stolac to HDZ BiH

Stjepan Bošković, who presents himself as the mayor of Stolac municipality, requested on December 12, 2016, from the holders of executive and legislative power in FBiH to adopt the budget for Stolac Municipality based on the Mostar model. A significant difference compared to Mostar would be that he alone would be the signatory when proclaiming the budget, it was announced from the Initiative for Stolac, reports Patria.

- With this move, HDZ BiH has completely revealed its cards and proven what the Initiative for Stolac has been saying for a long time, which is that HDZ BiH can only win a new mandate in Stolac in two ways: through electoral theft or by not holding elections. Fair, correct, and honest elections are not an option in any case for HDZ BiH - it was announced.

We in the Initiative for Stolac are sure that voting for the budget of Stolac municipality based on the Mostar model would be a guarantee that elections in Stolac will not be held for the next 4 years.

Any vote for the adoption of the budget for Stolac municipality by any party that declares itself as pro-Bosnia and Herzegovina will be considered the most brutal betrayal, and we will not hesitate to publicly state who sold Stolac and its citizens to HDZ BiH.

The solution for the Stolac Municipality budget is in the hands of the Central Election Commission members, not in the FBiH Parliament. We tell Stjepan Bošković that, if he cares about Stolac Municipality getting a budget for 2017, he should contact the Central Election Commission and request elections for which there are absolutely no legal obstacles, reports Patria.
