A Hungarian reporter who became "famous" for a primitive and barbaric act after footage showing her tripping refugees went viral is named Petra Laszlo, reports the Daily Mail, according to the Patria News Agency.

Let us remind you, the reporter was filmed tripping refugees near the border with Serbia as they were running in an attempt to enter Hungary.

N1TV Editor-in-Chief Szabolcs Kisberk stated in a press release that the dismissal was extraordinary. Incidentally, N1TV is closely linked to the Jobbik party, which, as a far-right party, holds strong anti-immigrant views. However, even for them, this journalist's move was too much.

Petra Laszlo will face an investigation for this shocking attack. Opposition parties, Egyutt-PM and the Democratic Coalition, will also seek charges of violence against her, and such offenses in Hungary can carry a sentence of up to five years in prison.
