Bosnia and Herzegovina is rapidly turning to growing and purchasing domestic agricultural products. According to data from the Federal Statistical Agency, the production and purchase of agricultural products in November this year compared to the same month in 2013 has seen a significant increase, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
The total value of sales of agricultural products from own production by agricultural enterprises and agricultural cooperatives, and the purchase of agricultural products from family agricultural producers in November 2014 amounted to 23,581,489 KM, which is an increase of 6,047,622 KM or 34.49% compared to November 2013, according to data from the Federal Office of Statistics.
The total value of sales of agricultural products from own production by agricultural enterprises and agricultural cooperatives in November 2014 amounted to 12,074,935 KM, which is an increase of 2,141,236 KM or 21.56% compared to November 2013.
The total value of purchases of agricultural products from family agricultural producers in November 2014 amounted to 11,506,554 KM, which is an increase of 3,906,386 KM or 51.4% compared to November 2013, according to the Office's statement, NAP reports.
