Three-day search concluded: Body of missing Dervo Ismić from Hadžići found

(Patria) - The three-day intensive search for Dervo Ismić (57) from Hadžići, conducted by the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) - Sarajevo Station, has concluded.



"During the search, members of our station, with the help of colleagues from other services, searched the area, making maximum efforts to find the missing person.

We owe great thanks to the member stations of the GSS of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who responded to the call and contributed on the ground.

Also, members of DVD Tarčin participated in the operation, whose support was of exceptional importance for the efficient flow of the operation.

We note that the competent authorities from the Civil Protection of Hadžići were the basis on which we were called to the field.

We are also grateful to our colleagues from GSS Canton Sarajevo for the assistance and support provided during this demanding operation," stated GSS - Sarajevo Station.

The Sarajevo police unofficially confirmed that Ismić's body was found in Hadžići, not far from his family home.

Ismić lived alone in his family home and was last seen on February 18, since when the search for him had been ongoing.

After the members of the MUP of KS complete the procedures within their jurisdiction, the circumstances under which Ismić died will be known.
