SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Resource Management Mirko Okolić received a visit from the Military Attaché of the United States of America to BiH, Brigadier Michael Tarquinto.
The topics of discussion, among others, concerned bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries, as well as reform activities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH.
The interlocutors also discussed the recent handover of four American helicopters, acquired through the ERIP program, which was assessed positively by the interlocutors.
In this context, Deputy Minister Okolić and Military Attaché Tarquinto discussed the operational capabilities of the current flight capacities of the Armed Forces of BiH.
Deputy Minister Okolić emphasized the importance of certain operational capabilities of the Armed Forces of BiH and the role that the USA provides in this process.
Brigadier Michael Tarquinto reiterated the commitment of the US Government to continue defense cooperation with the Mo BiH through various programs - it was announced from the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
