OHR reacts to accusations that they are always on the side of Bosniaks

A meeting of the President and Prime Minister of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vučić, with the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanić and the President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik was held in Belgrade today, Patria reports. 

After the meeting, views were expressed that the international community is one-sided, in the sense that there are harsh criticisms against Serbs for violating the Dayton Peace Agreement, while reactions are absent when it comes to the actions of Bosniaks.

The OHR rejected these accusations, stating that they "have the same approach to all challenges to the Dayton Agreement," and emphasized that truth and justice are of "key importance" for the reconciliation process and the future of BiH.

"The OHR and the Peace Implementation Council carefully monitor developments in the country and have the same approach to all challenges to the Dayton Agreement. As for this specific case, the High Representative has repeatedly emphasized that truth and justice are of key importance for the reconciliation process and the future of this country," the OHR said.

"At the same time, the High Representative has expressed concern about possible political consequences and negative reactions that may arise from the request for a revision of the judgment in the case that BiH initiated against Serbia before the International Court of Justice," they concluded in the statement.
