OHR Welcomes Today's Decisions of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament

OHR welcomes today's adoption of the Decision on temporary financing of the Federation, as well as amendments to the Law on Budgets in the Federation of BiH concerning the City of Mostar in the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament, reports the Patria News Agency.

Deputies in the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament acted in a timely and responsible manner, as the adopted legal acts are of essential importance for ensuring the continued financing of institutions, but also for all other budget payments, including those to the most vulnerable categories, both at the Federation level and at the City of Mostar level.

For the sake of all those who depend on payments from the budgets of the Federation and Mostar, the OHR expects the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament to be formed as soon as possible, so that the procedure for adopting these priority legal acts can be completed.

OHR also reminds that the Peace Implementation Council Steering Board recently called for the urgent formation of governments at all levels, in order to finally address the important challenges facing BiH and the serious economic and social problems of its citizens, it was announced from the Office of the High Representative.
