OHR condemns attack on 'Bh. povorka ponosa' activists in Banja Luka

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The OHR most strongly condemns last night's attack on activists and journalists in Banja Luka, the OHR announced regarding the hooligan attack in Banja Luka on the activists of the "Bh. povorka ponosa" (Bosnia and Herzegovina Pride Parade).

"Authorities must conduct a swift investigation and bring to justice all those responsible for the violent attack. The authorities of the RS should take equal care of all their citizens," the OHR stated.

We remind that hooligans attacked participants of the coordination committee meeting of the organization "Bh. povorka ponosa" last night in the premises of Transparency International BiH on Krfska Street, in the Obilićevo neighborhood of Banja Luka.

Three activists were injured in the attack.

According to the activists' assessments, the attack is a consequence of the statements made by the Mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, and the President of the RS entity, Milorad Dodik.
