OHR on four years of war in Ukraine: Borders cannot be redrawn by violence and terror

(Patria) - The Office of the High Representative (OHR) issued a statement today on the occasion of four years since the start of the war in Ukraine.

"Glorifying leaders who wage wars based on aggression means you are not on the right side of history. Being on the right side of history means standing with those who defend their freedom, not with those who seek to undermine it.

We express our respect for the Ukrainian people for their courage and resilience in defending their sovereignty and freedom.

Borders cannot be changed by force. We have all agreed on that. Borders cannot be redrawn by violence and terror. Aggression must never be rewarded.

High Representative Christian Schmidt is firmly committed to peace on the foundations established by the UN Charter: in Ukraine, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in all other countries," the OHR stated.
