(Patria) - After the Government of the Federation of BiH removed 3 million convertible marks from the code for capital projects planned for the construction of the city pool in Cazin, we were left with 50,000 marks for the realization of this investment.
We proudly and honorably inform the public that the City of Cazin renounces the aforementioned 50,000 marks in favor of aid for the people of Palestine, said the Mayor of Cazin, Nermin Ogrešević.
"Our project, as we have already pointed out, does not depend on the mercy of the current government because we have confirmed countless times that, when it comes to projects, we can achieve much more with our own strength than all of them combined. We sincerely hope that sending aid to the people of Palestine will not hurt Vojin Mijatović too much and spoil his joy, because he denied a project to those who did not support him on his path to becoming a minister.
Also, we tell Minister Hrnjić not to put the cities of Cazin and Bihać in the context of any discord without any valid arguments. The pool in Bihać is equally important as the one in Cazin, and funds for this project were planned in the Federal budget for 2023 thanks to amendments and the insistence of NES, and especially our representative Ilda Alibegović.
Our cities are equally ours and equally Bosnian-Herzegovinian.
While the representatives of the Trojka in Sarajevo rejoice, and those in Krajina try with outdated methods of sowing discord in which they divide us into Bihać residents, San residents, Cazin residents, etc... we work and act. Today, with humanity for Palestine, tomorrow with work and finding funds for our pools and all other projects for the citizens of the Una-Sana Canton," Ogrešević stated.
