Ogrešević: Dodik continues anti-state and pro-Russian policy, high time for reaction from BiH Prosecutor's Office, OHR and PIC

(Patria) - The authorities of the smaller BiH entity, led by Milorad Dodik, continue anti-constitutional activities with the celebration of January 9, for which the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ruled that it cannot be the "Day of Republika Srpska". Therefore, I call on the BiH Prosecutor's Office, as well as the OHR and the High Representative, to finally sanction all those who organized today's celebration and thus once again ignored the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, states the reaction of Nermin Ogrešević, president of the People's European Alliance (NES) BiH.

"January 9 is a symbol of the attack on the constitutional order of BiH, the beginning of aggression, genocide, crimes... Therefore, it cannot be celebrated as the day of one of the entities of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, although the Constitutional Court of BiH has clearly ruled on this, the RS authorities led by Dodik continue to ignore the Court's decisions and undermine the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Parades with long barrels and armored vehicles, awarding Russian President Vladimir Putin in the midst of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, cause unrest and send a clear message to other peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to the whole world, that Dodik has not changed and that he continues his anti-state and pro-Russian policy, whose main goal is to provoke tensions, disrupt peace and stability, and ultimately dismantle the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is high time for the BiH Prosecutor's Office to initiate proceedings against all those who violate the Constitution of this country, but also for the OHR, the High Representative, and the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) to react.

Progress of our country and its accession to the European Union and NATO certainly cannot happen as long as the Constitution is violated with impunity, secessionist policies are pursued, and messages of support for Russian aggression against Ukraine are sent from Bosnia and Herzegovina," states Ogrešević.
