VEHICLE SEIZED 24-year-old from Sarajevo caught driving Mercedes G500 without a driver's license, already owes 7,000 KM in fines!

(Patria) - Sarajevo police seized four vehicles during traffic controls at various locations. In Hadžići, a "VW Golf IV" was temporarily seized, driven by 28-year-old M.M. from Hadžići. Checks revealed that the individual was driving without a driver's license and is a repeat offender for traffic violations.

In Gornja Mahala street, Ilidža municipality, police officers from Ilidža Police Department controlled a passenger motor vehicle "Opel Omega", owned by M.T., driven by N.K., born in 1982 in Zenica, where he resides. Checks revealed that the 42-year-old has an outstanding debt of 17,533.60 KM in the register of monetary fines and violation records for unpaid fines, and is a repeat offender for traffic violations.

In Safeta Hadžića street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, police officers from Novi Grad Police Department controlled a passenger motor vehicle "Audi", owned by S.Dž.Ć., driven by M.Dž., born in 1989 in Sarajevo, residing in Goražde. Checks revealed that the individual has an outstanding debt of 12,274.40 KM in the register of monetary fines and violation records for unpaid fines, and is a repeat offender for traffic violations.

Sarajevo police announced that on 02/03/2024 at 11:15 PM, in Kranjčevićeva street, Centar municipality, a "Mercedes G500" motor vehicle, owned by R.G., driven by 24-year-old E.G. from Sarajevo, was controlled. Checks revealed that the individual was driving without a driver's license, and has an outstanding debt of 7,953.05 KM in the register of monetary fines and violation records for unpaid fines, and is a repeat offender for traffic violations.

The vehicle in question was temporarily seized from the offender, and a request for initiating misdemeanor proceedings for the committed violation under Article 184 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be submitted to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo.
