Police officers from Čelinac arrested a 60-year-old man after he illegally shot a roe deer. He now faces a penalty of up to two years in prison, writes NAP.
Yesterday, the gamekeeper of the Fazan hunting association reported to the Čelinac Police Station that a gunshot was heard in the settlement of Markovac around 7:30 PM. Shortly thereafter, officers found a shot roe deer next to an abandoned house.
A man was arrested, and police found a "Crvena zastava" hunting rifle, 7.9 mm caliber, and a "Crvena zastava" hunting shotgun, 12 mm caliber. According to the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, he now faces a prison sentence of up to two years for illegal hunting, writes NAP.
