Session of the BiH State Investment Board Held

(Patria) - The 19th session of the BiH State Investment Board was held via telephone. Projects were considered for nomination within the 25th call for technical assistance and the 6th call for co-financing of investment projects through the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans (WBIF).

At the session, eleven projects were adopted for nomination within the 6th call for co-financing of investment projects in the fields of transport, energy, and environmental protection, which were assessed as mature enough for further consideration by the Secretariat of the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans. Project financier groups of WBIF assess the applications and propose selected applications to the WBIF Steering Committee.

Three applications in the field of environmental protection were forwarded for further procedure within the 25th call for technical assistance of WBIF. The eligibility criteria for awarding grant funds for the calls in question are aligned with the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans.

The Investment Framework for the Western Balkans enables financing and technical assistance for strategic investments in the fields of transport, energy, environmental protection, the social sector, and digital infrastructure, and supports socio-economic development and the EU accession process in the Western Balkan countries.
