Demonstration Arrest Exercise with Police Dog for FPN Students Held

The Special Support Unit of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs was visited today by third-year students of the Security Studies Department of the Faculty of Political Sciences, the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs announced, reports the BH news agency Patria.

The visit was organized and held in accordance with the signed Memorandum of Understanding, professional cooperation, and mutual support in security research between the Faculty of Political Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The primary goal of the visit is to familiarize students with the competencies of the Special Support Unit, the Traffic Unit, and other organizational units of the Police Administration, all in order to improve police-citizen cooperation in preventing all forms of crime.

The visit plan also included a presentation of some equipment available to the Special Support Unit, some equipment and vehicles of the Traffic Unit, and equipment of the Counter-Diversion Protection Department of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs, which the students followed with particular interest. 

A demonstration exercise titled "Deprivation of Liberty with the Use of a Service Dog" was held for those present.

This visit aims to increase the quality of the practical part of the teaching process and improve the overall cooperation between members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs and citizens.
