The Mayor of the Capital City of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, was also present in the Government House.
He said that, with the grief that united everyone, "we have gathered before one of the most difficult challenges that has struck us as a community".
"Another tragedy of unprecedented proportions has struck Cetinje and Montenegro. The loss of 12 lives has left us in shock and disbelief. The loss of two angels who were symbols of innocence is particularly painful. They have left a void in our hearts. The only thing we can do is to offer our most sincere condolences to the families and to help them in their pain," said Đurašković.
He emphasized that this is not only a loss for the families, but for the entire society.
"As we bid farewell to our fellow citizens, we must all ask ourselves why something like this happened again in our city and how we, as a community and society, allowed such a tragedy to happen again. The state must react systematically. We owe this to the victims of these terrible crimes, their families, and future generations. We must and want to clearly demand accountability," stated Đurašković.
