Operational Group for Combating Terrorism Meeting Held

A meeting of the Operational Group for Combating Terrorism was held at the headquarters of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, attended by the Police Attaché of the French Republic to BiH Eric Emeraux and his assistant.

The Deputy Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Mile Jurić, welcomed the participants and emphasized the Directorate's readiness to continue providing full support to the activities of the Operational Group for Combating Terrorism, headquartered at the Directorate, in accordance with its legal responsibilities, Patria reports.

The Head of the Operational Group for Combating Terrorism, prosecutor Dubravko Čampara from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, informed the Police Attaché of the French Republic to BiH about the scope of the Operational Group's work and its future planned activities. He also presented the most significant cases of the BiH Prosecutor's Office in which, thanks to timely and effective information exchange through the Operational Group, evidence has been gathered that will lead to the prosecution of certain individuals in the coming period.

The Police Attaché of the French Republic to BiH, Emeraux, expressed satisfaction with the realized activities of the Operational Group, pledged full support for its future work, and expressed readiness to improve cooperation with the Operational Group. He also emphasized that one of the most important prerequisites for an effective fight against terrorism is the continuous and timely exchange of information, as well as effective cooperation between competent law enforcement agencies at home and abroad.
