Detention ordered for minor who killed a police officer and seriously injured another in Bosanska Krupa

(Patria) - Yesterday, the Municipal Court in Bosanska Krupa ordered detention for a minor who committed the murder of one police officer and seriously wounded another, Ozren Maran and Avdo Hasanović, reports RTV USK.

The detention was ordered at the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton, for a duration of 30 days, during which investigative actions will be carried out, as well as necessary expert examinations aimed at recording all relevant facts in shedding light on this crime.

Let us recall, the minor, on the night of October 24, armed with a knife, broke into the Bosanska Krupa Police Station and attacked two police officers with fatal consequences for Ozren Maran.

The following night, members of the Special Police Unit and investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, as well as members of the Federation Police Administration and the State Investigation and Protection Agency, arrested seven individuals linked to this terrorist act. The investigation in this case has been taken over by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
