Decisions of the BiH Presidency on NATO integration are the only binding documents

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić welcomed the assessment of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the need to activate the Action Plan for Membership of Bosnia and Herzegovina in NATO.

Komšić agrees with Stoltenberg regarding the acceptance of the offer that NATO has sent to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The member of the BiH Presidency also calls on all domestic political actors to make additional efforts to activate the MAP.

Komšić recalled the Foreign Policy Strategy of BiH, which was adopted by the BiH Presidency in March this year, and whose foundations emphasize that the continuation of activities related to NATO remains a priority for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that priority activities will be primarily directed towards the activation and implementation of the MAP.

In this sense, the strategic decisions of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina represent the only credible and binding document on the basis of which further action can be taken in the process of NATO integration.
