Decision of the Sarajevo Canton Government: A five percent salary increase for employees paid from the Sarajevo Canton Budget

The Sarajevo Canton Government today adopted the Decision on determining the base and coefficient for salary calculation for employees paid from the Sarajevo Canton Budget for 2023, which implies a five percent salary increase for more than 14,500 employees.

The decision established the base for salary calculation at 330 KM, as well as a coefficient of 1.05.

The payment of increased salaries will follow the adoption of the Budget for the current year, in accordance with the Law on the Execution of the Sarajevo Canton Budget.

Upon adoption of the Budget, employees will also retroactively receive the difference in salary increases for the period of the Decision on Temporary Financing.
