SDA state representative Šemsudin Mehmedović commented for the Patria news agency on yesterday's decision of the BiH Prosecutor's Office not to conduct an investigation against Šefik Džaferović and Sakib Mahmuljin, based on the documentation and report submitted by former FBiH Vice President Mirsad Kebo.
-The Prosecutor's Office's stance on dismissing the report against Džaferović and Mahmuljin is not a surprise to me because I know the actual sequence of events in that period.
Now the reasons for obstruction of the work of the BiH Parliament by the SNSD have ceased, although I think that the Džaferović case is just a pretext, and that the background is related to the implementation of election results, i.e., the formation of governments at the federal and state levels.
But their behavior in the further course of the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH will be a sign of what their real intention is. It is nevertheless surprising how the BiH Prosecutor's Office reacted relatively quickly in this case, while they have not yet given a final stance on my case, even though all legally prescribed deadlines have passed.
Malicious people would say that this has to do with the SDA Congress, but I do not want to believe that, Mehmedović pointed out.
SIPA submitted a report to the BiH Prosecutor's Office against Mehmedović for an alleged war crime, identical to the case of Šefik Džaferović.
The report was submitted on July 19, 2013. Since then, no one from the BiH Prosecutor's Office has responded.
