Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (hereinafter: SIPA) this morning (27.10.2017) searched a residential building in the area of Banja Luka due to grounds for suspicion of committing a criminal offense from Article 162b of the Criminal Code of BiH "Unlawful formation and joining foreign paramilitary or paramilitary formations".
The mentioned activities were carried out by order of the Court of BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, with the aim of finding and temporarily seizing items that can serve as evidence in further proceedings.
The suspect is linked to going to the battlefield in Ukraine and participating in armed conflicts in that area, and is being questioned on these circumstances in the official premises of SIPA.
SIPA continues further activities on this case, and at this stage, we are unable to provide more information to the public.
