TUZLA, (Patria) - Due to the protest of former soldiers, traffic is still interrupted at the Šićki Brod (Tuzla) interchange.
About 50 demobilized soldiers who blocked the intersection on the M-17 main road in Karuša near Doboj at 12:10 today dispersed to their homes, but announced that they would continue the blockade tomorrow.
Nearly 300 former soldiers are still blocking the Šićki Brod interchange near Tuzla and do not want to disperse until their demands are met.
The Federal Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Salko Bukvarević, stayed in Tuzla today, but no meeting took place with the representatives of the soldiers, who told him that they would meet only if the Draft Law on the Rights of Demobilized Soldiers is put on the parliamentary agenda on Monday, and not in 20 to 30 days, as the minister stated.
