Employees of BET Live and Petica PLUS betting shops refuse roses for March 8th, donate money to children instead!

Employees of BET Live and Petica PLUS betting shops refused to accept roses for March 8th, which the managements of these companies traditionally give them for Women's Day. They requested that the money intended for roses be donated by the managements to help sick children. 

- We wanted to show that people do not turn a blind eye to hardships, but rather help those in need. Times are tough, but that does not prevent us from being humane – the employees of the betting shops conveyed. 

Approximately 5,000 KM, which BET Live and Petica PLUS betting shops planned to spend on gifts for Women's Day, was transferred on Tuesday to the accounts of three boys and two girls.

The money was received by Milan Simetić from Bijeljina (13), who is awaiting a liver and kidney transplant, and Josip Patrik and Mia Čavar from Široki Brijeg, who are awaiting eye surgery. Money was also transferred to the account of Merjema Dautović from Kruševica near Lukavac, a thirteen-year-old girl suffering from a brain tumor. This girl is currently at UKC Tuzla, but due to the severity of her illness, doctors recommend continuing her treatment in Turkey.

Muamera Đip and Nirmela Kurtović, thirty-three-year-old women from Višegrad and Busovača, who also suffer from serious illnesses, also received the money.

- We sincerely wish you a happy March 8th – they conveyed to them along with the monetary gifts. 

Employees of these betting shops have been organizing humanitarian actions for some time to help the socially vulnerable and the sick, writes NAP.
