Where will the Serbs come from to fill the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament after the ruling of the Constitutional Court of the FBiH

The Constitutional Court of the FBiH recently declared the method of electing delegates to the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH unconstitutional. In practice, this means that each canton will no longer elect at least one representative of each of the three constituent peoples in the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH.

Božo Ljubić, who also filed the appeal to the Constitutional Court of the FBiH, said that this ruling means that Croats in the Croat Club of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament will be elected from cantons where the Croatian population is in the majority, where it is dominant, and not from cantons where the number of Croats is small.

Commenting on this decision of the Constitutional Court of the FBiH, the President of the DF, Željko Komšić, said on the Dnevnik D of Federal Television that it is not clear to him how the authorities plan to fill the Serb Club in the Federal Parliament, because there is not a single canton in the FBiH where Serbs are in the majority.

- If Božo Ljubić is right when it comes to filling the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the FBiH, I have a question for both the Constitutional Court and the public. What about the Serb Club in the Federal Parliament? There is no canton in the Federation that is predominantly Serbian – said Komšić.

- You have created a hole in the entire system that no one will be able to close – added Komšić. He wonders whether the ruling applies only to the election of Croats in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, or whether the ruling also applies to Serbs and Bosniaks.

- I see that no one is taking care of the Others anymore. No one even asks about the Others – said Komšić, Patria reports.
