(Patria) - The Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ALMBIH) received a total of 749 reports of reactions after COVID-19 vaccination by August 16, 2021. 38 applications are being processed.
711 reports of suspected adverse drug reactions (ADRs) after COVID-19 vaccination in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been assessed. Most reports included multiple reactions. 686 (96.5%) reports were classified as "non-serious", expected, while 25 reports (3.5%) were classified as "serious".
The reports of adverse reactions received and analyzed to date do not change the positive benefit-risk profile of COVID-19 vaccines available in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This largely confirms their known vaccine reaction profile.
One report of a patient's death was received, which can only be temporally linked to the CoronaVac (COVID-19 vaccine), Sinovac. The Commission for Immunization Safety of the Ministry of Health of the FBiH is conducting a detailed analysis of the case, which is ongoing.
