Domestic drug Malcovir® available on the market for coronavirus treatment starting today

(Patria) - The drug under the protected name MALCOVIR®, developed by the company ZADA Pharmaceuticals from Lukavac and used in the therapy for treating coronavirus, will be available on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina starting today, April 16.

"Management recognized the need for the development of this drug in a timely manner, and we have succeeded, here, first in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in the region of Southeast Europe, to make this drug available to our clinics and citizens, and then to all others interested," said the founder and owner of this company, Davud Zahirović, for Preporod.info, MINA reports.

According to him, there is enough raw material for the production of this drug. It is a product of Hydroxychloroquine film tablets 200 mg, which will appear on the market under the protected name MALCOVIR®.

He reminded that the drug Hydroxychloroquine film tablets 200 mg was approved for use on March 28 by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
