
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At today's session of the Coordination Board for Economic Stabilization and Remediation of Negative Consequences of the Pandemic in the FBiH, additional measures aimed at preserving jobs were discussed, based on an initiative submitted by the Employers' Association of FBiH proposing amendments to the Labor Law and other regulations.
The goal of these amendments is to enable employers to implement orders from crisis headquarters without violating the Labor Law, as well as to adapt business operations during the state of natural disaster declared by the Government of FBiH, which this law in its current form does not recognize.
The proposed amendments aim to provide employers and workers with a more flexible way of granting annual leave, determining working hours, redistributing working hours during the week, using paid and unpaid leave, so-called work from home, etc., all with the goal of preserving jobs, the Coordination Board for Economic Stabilization and Remediation of Negative Consequences of the Pandemic in the FBiH announced.
This board, established by decisions of the Government of FBiH and the Economic and Social Council for the territory of FBiH, is chaired by Edita Đapo, Federal Minister of Tourism and Environment, and in addition to relevant ministers, delegations of employers and trade unions also participate.
