I expect the Prosecutor's Office to rid Bosnia and Herzegovina of people like Zubac

There are so many reports against Goran Zubac, director of the Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA), that the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina should finally take more significant steps to rid BiH of a director like Zubac – said for NAP Šemsudin Mehmedović, SDA delegate in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, commenting on the news that state prosecutor Miroslav Marković made a decision to conduct an investigation for negligent work in office, because Zubac refused to intervene during the attack of demonstrators on the Presidency of BiH, despite having a request from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH.

- I expect everyone to do their job in accordance with the law, including the Prosecutor's Office of BiH – added Mehmedović.

He noted that he had previously warned that security agencies are becoming the strongest levers for fighting against political dissidents of those who manage these agencies.

- Unfortunately, SIPA is managed by some informal centers of power, which actually want to use the agencies to settle scores with those who do not think like them or do not fit into their personal interests – said Mehmedović.

The SDA delegate said that Zubac is an example of an unprofessional attitude towards the state of BiH, because the highest body of the state of BiH was attacked, and he behaved so indolently towards such activities.

- What's more, he did not even deign to visit the crime scene after everything. It is not a matter of training; it was a very small group of young people who were prepared and trained on what to do and how to set fire. They were sent to do it. Aside from a justified protest of the citizens of BiH who showed dissatisfaction in a correct and democratic way, in which all citizens of BiH find themselves – added Mehmedović.

He further recalled that the Presidency of BiH was defended with weapons during the war, and now a small group of people was sent to set fire to such an important institution.

- It is obvious that Zubac is part of that wave and at the very least he is not sorry that the Presidency of BiH was set on fire – added Mehmedović.
