Desperate mother from Russia wrote to Erdogan: Find my daughter, you are my last hope

-My ex-husband Murat Aydemir abducted our daughter Aylin (8) back in 2011. According to Turkish law, child custody belongs to the mother. In 2012, the Istanbul court sentenced my ex-husband Murat Aydemir to a five-month suspended sentence for child abduction, writes Russian Zarina Albegonova in an open letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports the Patria News Agency. 

The desperate mother states that she has not heard from her daughter for seven months and does not know what has become of her. She writes that her daughter is not even a Turkish citizen and that the father is holding her illegally and under duress.

-Mr. President Erdogan, please find my daughter and do everything according to the law. I am writing to you because you are my last hope, wrote the Russian woman in her letter, the content of which was published by the Russian state agency TASS and reported by the influential Turkish daily Hurriyet.
