GSS operation suspended: Trail race participant appeared at the finish line

The search by GSS Sarajevo members has been suspended after a participant in the international trail race appeared at the finish line with a significant delay, confirmed by GSS.

The Sarajevo Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) set out today shortly after 8 PM on a search operation for a participant of the first international trail race held today in the protected Natural Monument Skakavac.

"At 8:25 PM, a search operation began following the 'Trail Race on Skakavac'. One of the competitors did not appear at the finish line," confirmed the GSS station in Sarajevo.

The international trail race was held on Saturday in the areas of the municipalities of Stari Grad, Centar, and Vogošća.

Fortunately, the race participant, an older man, did not encounter serious problems. He was simply late to the finish line, writes NAP.
