(Patria) - The ceremonial military parade marking Victory Day over Fascism in World War II has begun on Red Square in Moscow.
The start of the parade was announced by the bell on the "Spasskaya Tower".
This year's parade is being held in a limited format, due to the security situation resulting from the conflict in Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to address the attendees on Red Square.
This year's parade will be somewhat different compared to previous years, with a part held online.
