Memorial to murdered police officers Šehović and Vujinović restored

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The memorial at Alipašino Polje to the two murdered police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović, which was destroyed by a storm wind on November 4, was today restored and reinforced.

The new monument was erected with the help and support of the Police Union, the Police Administration, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

"This memorial is a symbol not only of remembrance of our brutally murdered colleagues but also of the police forces' commitment to never give up the fight against all forms of crime and to always return stronger and prouder of our work, colleagues, and the results we leave behind, for the safety of all our citizens," wrote the Minister of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Admir Katica.
