Global Film Festival We Are One Program Announced

(Patria) - Tribeca Enterprises and YouTube today announced the program for the first Global Film Festival We Are One, which will feature over 100 films selected by curators from 21 leading film festivals from more than 35 countries, including the Sarajevo Film Festival, along with a supporting program of talks, VR content, and musical performances. This ten-day digital event honors artists from all parts of the world, highlighting films that can drive change and productively connect a global audience.

The festival has brought together some of the world's most talented artists, storytellers, and curators with the aim of providing entertainment and comfort to film lovers during the Covid-19 pandemic, and support to organizations fighting this global health challenge. The festival will be held entirely on the YouTube channel YouTube.com/WeAreOne from May 29 to June 7.

"Festivals are places for connection, gathering, and sharing. Now, more than ever, these are key elements for rebuilding social capital, re-examining existing film production models, and shaping our common future. Festivals are places that allow us to decide together where we want to go and to show that we are all part of the same whole – one. We are happy to be part of the joint project of Tribeca, YouTube, and world film festivals, and to present films by regional and world authors created in Sarajevo to audiences worldwide. We hope you will enjoy it and that we will see each other again soon at festivals and in cinemas," said Mirsad Purivatra and Jovan Marjanović on behalf of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
