Call for participation in the World Expo EXPO in Dubai published

(Patria) - The Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton today published a Call for expression of interest and application of business entities for a support package for participation in the World Expo EXPO 2020 Dubai.

"We invite all business entities that meet the application criteria for participation to apply and present their business within the EXPO 2020 Dubai business program," invited Minister Delić.

He also said that selected business entities will receive a support package for participation, which is explained in detail in the text of this Call.

Among other things, the support package includes an airline ticket, visa and travel insurance for one person, five nights in a hotel, a translator, a guide, and many other administrative and technical services.

Application for this call is possible exclusively through the online application https://expo2020bih.ba/biznis-program/ in the first phase, while the selection of business entities, i.e. the review of online applications, processing and verification of data, and assessment of fulfillment of conditions, will be carried out by a Commission appointed by a decision of the Ministry of Economy of KS.

"The relevant ministry will, in the first phase of selection, publish a list of business entities that have applied online through the web application with the total points achieved, while in the second phase, it will invite business entities from the list of business entities to submit the necessary documentation required by this call, within the deadline determined by the Ministry in its notice sent for the submission of prescribed documentation," explained Minister Delić.

He added that all business entities that are not selected through this call can participate in the World Expo EXPO 2020 Dubai at their own expense.
"The Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, through the organizer of the World Expo EXPO 2020 Dubai, will cover the costs of renting space in the pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina for business entities that do not pass the Call, and will therefore be able to use it for meetings according to available slots," specified Minister Delić.

He also stated that business entities that are at this fair at their own expense will have support from the organizer EXPO Dubai 2020 LLC-SO at the BiH pavilion, which includes a hall for B2B meetings according to available slots, equipment in the hall, an LED screen for presentations, a computer, internet, printer, IT support, and administrative support for procedures and applications in the B2B application.

The deadline for online completion of the web application is seven days from the date of publication of this call, i.e. until November 28, 2021, at 11:59 PM.
