Anniversary of the death of police officer Muhidin Pivodić marked

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Today, a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, led by Minister Admir Katica and Police Commissioner Mevludine Halilović, and a delegation of the Sarajevo Canton Police Union, with the presence of family members and numerous colleagues, police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, marking the sixth anniversary of his death, laid flowers at the spot where colleague Pivodić died, as well as at his grave, at the Bare city cemetery.

In addition to those mentioned, a delegation of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, led by Mayor Semir Efendić, and representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Sarajevo also attended the laying of flowers. As every time in the past five years, all attendees paid due respect to their fallen colleague and fellow citizen, and with reverence remembered this tragic event and the circumstances under which police officer Muhidin Pivodić died.

Addressing the gathering, a representative of the Sarajevo Canton Police Union, among other things, once again emphasized the determination and readiness of all police officers to, despite all dangers and problems, perform their assigned duties bravely and selflessly, for the benefit of all citizens of the Canton and the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
