30th Anniversary of the Murder of Six Sarajevo Citizens Marked

(Patria) - Organized by the Association of Parents of Killed Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, members of the families of the killed, friends, neighbors, students of the Elementary School "Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević", students of secondary schools - the Trade, Dental Technology and Medical schools, representatives of the Centar Municipality and the Association of Parents of Killed Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, by laying flowers in front of the memorial plaque, reciting the Fatiha and observing a minute of silence, paid tribute to the innocently killed fellow citizens during the siege of Sarajevo 1992-1995, at Tahtali sokak street number 10.

On behalf of the City of Sarajevo, flowers were laid and tribute paid by the Deputy Chairman of the City Council, Dragan Stevanović.

At that location, due to the shrapnel effect of a shell fired from an aggressor position, six citizens of Sarajevo were killed, three of them children, and three people were wounded.

On that tragic day, four-year-old Anela Isanović, five-year-old Belma Ahmetović and nine-year-old Dževad Dautbašić were killed, as well as three other adult members of one family: Franjica Bartolec, her daughter Azra Vapetić and son-in-law Miroslav Vapetić.
