Security for the 11 July gathering: Third meeting of the Action Staff 'Srebrenica 2015'

At the premises of the Bijeljina Public Security Centre, the third meeting of the Action Staff ''Srebrenica 2015'' was held today, where the activities so far regarding the preparation of security for the Commemorative gathering in Potočari and the Peace March were analysed, reports the Patria news agency.

In addition to the members of the Staff, the meeting was also attended by representatives of other security agencies: the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, SIPA, OSA, the Ministry of Interior of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, the Brčko District Police, the Border Police, ICITAP, EUFOR, and representatives of the LOT Bratunac who will undertake activities within their competence.

At the meeting, it was emphasised that the preparations for securing the Commemorative gathering in Potočari and the ''Peace March'', carried out by the Action Staff and other security agencies, are proceeding according to plan. In addition, certain guidelines were adopted defining further activities to ensure that both gatherings pass safely.

Also, those present at the meeting were informed about the activities undertaken by the Organising Committee for marking the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.
