Prosecutor's Office of BiH and SIPA Notified: Weapons Stolen from BiH Armed Forces Warehouse

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On 11.02.2021, during regular activities at the Basic Training Center Pazarić of the Armed Forces of BiH, it was determined that the security seal at the entrance to the warehouse of weapons and military equipment was damaged, the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced. 

"In accordance with prescribed procedures and competencies, the Military Police of the BiH Armed Forces arrived at the scene and informed the competent internal affairs authority, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, about the aforementioned. Acting on whose orders, the Agency for Investigations and Protection (SIPA) was also engaged. Furthermore, in accordance with procedures, an extraordinary inventory was carried out, with the presence of the aforementioned authorities, during which a shortage of a certain quantity of small arms was determined.

Upon completion of the investigation led by the acting prosecutor, the Ministry of Defense of BiH will promptly inform the public of the results," the statement said.
