Obama called on Americans to spend Thanksgiving as usual: Security services ready for anything

US President Barack Obama, ahead of tomorrow's Thanksgiving holiday, addressed the nation trying to reassure them and tell them that security services are ready for any form of threat, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Obama said there was no reason to worry and that no threats had been made against the homeland as happened on November 13 in Paris.

Obama called on Americans to do everything they normally do for this holiday.

- Spend time with family and friends and celebrate - Obama said.

He emphasized that the problem of terrorism is a reality, but that the US can prevent attacks.

 

Obama held a closed-door meeting with his advisors, the director of the FBI, the Attorney General, and members of his security team.
