Obama congratulates on Eid al-Adha

US President Barack Obama congratulated all Muslims in the world on Eid al-Adha. He said that this holiday should also be a reminder of the large number of refugees who are celebrating this holiday this year away from their homes and families.

The American president said that the celebration of the holiday shows that faith can overcome differences or borders and unite all people under the banner of community and love. He added that the US as a nation remains committed to welcoming strangers with empathy and an open heart - from refugees fleeing devastating war in their countries to migrants leaving their homes in search of a better life. 

- From our family to yours - Eid Mubarak - said the American president, reports NAP.
