(Patria) - As November 18, the day of the "3TENORS" concert, approaches, preparations for this spectacle are entering their final stages.
All orchestral arrangements, written specifically for this occasion, have been completed and tested during four days of rehearsals with the orchestra. The rehearsals were held in the concert hall of the Music Academy in Sofia.
According to the concert's conductor, Maestro Emir Nuhanović, everything went smoothly.
"I am very satisfied with the arrangements; minor corrections to improve the overall impression have already been made. I am especially pleased that, alongside experienced musicians, the orchestra includes young musicians who possess considerable experience playing in international youth orchestras," Nuhanović points out.
The program consists of 26 different compositions, ranging from the most popular opera arias ("E lucevan le stelle," "La donna è mobile," "Nessun dorma," "Di quella pira," "Vesti la giubba"...), through popular Neapolitan songs ("Caruso," "O sole mio," "Con te partirò," "Mamma," "Torna a Surriento," "Non ti scordar di me," "Granada"...), all the way to duets from "The Phantom of the Opera."
"Before my departure for rehearsals with the orchestra, I had rehearsals with our young singing talents Sara Vojičić and Malik Smajlović. I believe that our Sara, with her vocal abilities and qualities, will surpass her father Mladen Vojičić Tifa and shine as a star beyond our borders. Malik also has an exceptional voice, and it is a real shame he did not continue his education at a music academy. The energy emanating from this singer is what attracts fans to the concerts where he performs with his band. This will be an extraordinary opportunity for them to join the stars of the evening, three top Italian tenors, in future projects we plan to undertake beyond our borders.
I am especially looking forward to the children's choir SUPERAR, under the direction of our conductor Alma Karić and the watchful eye of director Klaudija Bilić-Selmanović, performing at this concert. It is astonishing with what love our children approach this concert. They are already very excited, as are their parents and friends who will join us at the concert," Nuhanović notes.
Other organizational and logistical preparations in Sarajevo are underway.
"It was very difficult to organize the travel as well, because the tenors come from different cities due to their regular commitments. But I feel that the people of Sarajevo have understood the magnitude and significance of this concert, so everyone we turn to for help is wholeheartedly assisting us," he adds.
The concert organizers ask the audience to purchase their tickets for this concert as soon as possible, as only a few tickets remain, and expanding the existing seating arrangement is not possible. They also take the opportunity to inform the audience that the doors will be open from 7 PM to avoid large crowds at the entrance and to ensure the concert starts on time.
