'Novy Okkervil' is a building housing 18,000 residents

(Patria) - A building of incredible proportions near St. Petersburg is a true human beehive.

It is located in the town of Kudrovo, and according to data from the company that built the facility, it is designed for 20,000 people. Currently, about 18,000 residents live in it.

"Novy Okkervil" actually looks like a city within a city. It has more than ten shops, three beauty salons, a private kindergarten, three cafes, a post office, a pharmacy, a health center, sports fields...

Right next to the building are a school and a kindergarten, a hypermarket is 500 meters from the building, and there are many other amenities as well.

- I once didn't leave the building's courtyard for half a year because everything I need is here, and I worked from home - says one of the residents.

Residents say it takes them 25 minutes on foot or by bus to reach the nearest metro station, which is already in St. Petersburg.

Free parking is available in the building's courtyard, in several rows. As evening approaches, finding a spot increasingly resembles an adventure video game.
