New Year's Concert Dedicated to Kemal Monteno on December 28 at BKC

(Patria) - The traditional New Year's concert "Sarajevo Big Band and Friends" this year is dedicated to the work of Kemal Monteno, and will be held on December 28 in the great hall of Sarajevo's BKC, starting at 8 PM.

The Sarajevo Big Band will thus contribute to the preservation of domestic creativity and remind us of the great creative opus of Kemal Monteno, who left an indelible mark on the Bosnian-Herzegovinian music scene as a singer, singer-songwriter, and chansonnier.

The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable songs performed in original arrangements by Ranko Rihtman, written especially for the distinctive and unique sound of the Sarajevo Big Band, as well as the performance and inimitable interpretation of top vocal soloists.

Along with the permanent band lineup, which includes 25 musicians, the compositions of Kemal Monteno will be interpreted by renowned Bosnian-Herzegovinian artists: Boško Jović (guitar), Damir Imamović, Renata Kurtalić, Jasna Gospić-Sparavalo, Nermin Puškar, Dino Šaran, Zlatan Fazlić - Fazla, and Alen Lemešević.

The entire concert will take place under the baton of the great maestro Ranko Rihtman.

The concert is organized in co-production between JU BKC KS and the Sarajevo Big Band.
