Novo Sarajevo: Three men beat a man who later died, police searching for attackers

On Monday evening around 10 p.m., the Second Police Station was informed that in Džamijska Street, Novo Sarajevo municipality, a person was attacked and beaten by three unknown individuals. Upon arriving at the scene, police officers found traces of blood and a damaged passenger motor vehicle of the brand "VW Golf 5", Patria reports.

In the apartment, an injured person was found with severe head and back injuries. By the doctor at 12:05 a.m., the death of A.M., born in 1966 in Rijeka, residing in Sarajevo, was confirmed.

The investigation was conducted by the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, and an authorized forensic medical expert. The body of the deceased was transported by the KJKP Pokop vehicle to the Bare morgue, where an autopsy will be performed at the prosecutor's order.

Work continues on clarifying and documenting the criminal act of murder, identifying and finding the perpetrators.
