Journalists from the Buka portal have launched a campaign to renovate the floor in the 'Obrok ljubavi' soup kitchen in Banja Luka. Tiles are needed for 150 square meters of floor space.
- The tiles cannot be slippery because the majority of users of this soup kitchen are elderly and mobility-impaired individuals. The tiles cost around 11 KM per square meter. If you know of cheaper options, please let us know. If you have floor tiles you no longer need, they are also welcome. A variety of colors won't hurt – they wrote.
The 'Obrok ljubavi' soup kitchen serves nearly 450 users, who receive meals on Sundays. Along with Sunday meals, users also receive second-hand clothing, food packages, and hygiene supplies.
The floor in the dining hall of the soup kitchen where users eat is damaged and often soaked with water, causing the entire room to smell musty. Its urgent repair is needed.
- How can you provide assistance? It is best to go directly to the premises of the soup kitchen across from the city bridge, at Cara Lazara 20 Street (phone: 051/962-832) or to bring money or tiles to BUKA, which is located in the city center – the journalists stated, reports NAP.
