Journalist Avdo Avdić summoned to BiH Prosecutor's Office

Journalist Avdo Avdić from the portal Žurnal has been summoned to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to testify as a witness, after publishing an article about the recruitment of Salafists from BiH for the needs of the Security Intelligence Agency of the Republic of Croatia, even though according to Article 82 of the Law on Criminal Procedure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, journalists cannot be questioned as witnesses, writes Patria.

Prosecutor Oleg Čavka sent Avdić a summons on Friday morning to testify in a criminal case related to the intelligence incursion of the Republic of Croatia into BiH.

The Prosecutor's Office had previously questioned journalist Azra Omerović from the same portal, after she revealed that it is possible to buy a high school diploma in BiH for just over 2,000 KM in less than 20 days.
