New protests: Workers greeted by special police in front of the TK Government building

New protests by workers of the Transport Equipment Factory were recorded today in Tuzla. In front of the headquarters of the Tuzla Canton Government, workers were greeted by strong special police forces, reports the Patria news agency.

The workers' demands are always the same, but so is the response from the relevant ministry, which is that there is currently no assistance for the workers, except for initiating bankruptcy proceedings through which the company has a chance for revitalization. Until then, the workers are left to fend for themselves.

The headquarters of the TK Government was secured by special police forces today.

From the relevant ministry, it was announced that the workers' representatives will be received this afternoon by the pre-bankruptcy administrator and the Minister of Finance in the Tuzla Canton Government. Until then, a regular session of the Cantonal Government will be held, but without consideration of the demands and problems of these workers, FTV reported.
