(Patria) - Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs Suleyman Soylu confirmed that at least three people died and 213 were injured in the earthquakes in Hatay this evening.
We remind you that two earthquakes measuring 6.4 and 5.8 on the Richter scale hit the southern Turkish province of Hatay tonight, and the tremors were also felt in northwestern neighboring Syria.
The epicenters of the earthquakes were registered in the districts of Defne and Samandag, and the relevant Turkish services called on citizens to stay away from damaged buildings, to stay away from beaches due to the risk of rising sea levels, and to follow the instructions of the services on the ground.
